Public Transportation
If necessary, PregDesire can assist you with arranging your journey. We find the cheapest and most convenient way of transportation for you. However, you can arrange your transportation by yourself if you wish to do so.
By plane
The distance between your home country and the Czech Republic can easily and comfortably be done by plane. There is Leo Janáček Airport in Ostrava, which is near Spa Resort Klimkovice. In close cooperation with Student Agency, PregDesire offers you the possibility to use the "Královna" (Queen) reservation system. You can choose your favourite airline, time of departure and price, including low-cost flights. You'll get your ticket by e-mail. If necesary PregDesire assists you in your communication with Student Agengy.

From the airport, PregDesire arranges transportation to the Spa Resort Klimkovice.
Upon request, PregDesire can arrange a car rental for you through Zeman Rental Car (see below). The vehicle would be ready for you at the airport and you would be provided with directions to the Spa Resort Klimkovice.
By International Bus
In cooperation with Student Agency, PregDesire can arrange a very comfortable journey by a luxurious bus to and from the Czech Republic. Initially, Student Agency was founded for students, but for a long time now it accommodates anyone. Conveniently, Student Agency has a daily schedule of bus departures from various cities across Europe. The agency provides its services at a very competitive price. From each country in Europe international busses drive to the Czech Republic, mainly to Prague. There you have to change or travel by train to Ostrava. PregDesire can help you to find the most suitable connections. Upon arrival in Ostrava, PregDesire will be there to welcome you and transport you to the Spa Resort Klimkovice. In case you would like to rent a car through Zeman Rental Cars (see below), it will be available for pick up at the bus terminal in Ostrava.
Freedom when using your own vehicle
The advantage of traveling in your own car is that you can travel at your own pace and stop whenever you wish. This is an ideal option for many Europeans.
You need to purchase a toll ticket for highways; they are available at the border or at gas stations. The price for monthly ticket is 13,50 € (2008) When booking your trip you'll receive an itinerary. A parking space will be reserved for you at the Spa Resort Klimkovice.
Car Rental
If you would like to rent a car, PregDesire can arrange a car rental through Zeman Rental Cars at a very fair price. In cooperation with Zeman Rental Cars, you can choose between a 5-door sedan Škoda Fabia or a 5-door sedan Ford Siësta. Insurance, unlimited mileage and highway tolls are included in the rental price. You'll receive the keys upon arrival by train, bus or plane. Fuel expenses are not included in the price. You will be provided with directions to the Spa Resort Klimkovice. If you prefer, you can also arrange on your own a car rental with a different rental company, such as Hertz, Rent-a-Car etc.
Most of the traffic laws are the same as in other countries. Yet, there are some laws that need special attention due to high fines (up to 120 €):
- Drive with low-beams during the day
- Always use the seat belts
- Drivers are allowed no alcohol whatsoever (0 ‰)
- Observe the speed limit
- No hand held cell phone is allowed for drivers
