The Center

A trustworthy name
The waiting room at the Center for Assisted Reproduction is a good indicator of the trust women and couples have in the medical treatment at the clinic. It is always full of patients not because of long waiting times but simply because of the Center's excellent reputation. The trust of the clients is not unrightfully so. In the past 15 years, the specialists at the Center proved their abilities and high-level skills and helped many couples in happily becoming pregnant.

A modern clinic
The Center is the second established clinic for the treatment of infertility in the Czech Republic and received a certificate ISO 9001. This is a guarantee of quality because yearly many strict international standards must be fulfilled by the clinical management and operation procedures. They apply successful clinical methods, such as In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), ICSI, Assisted Hatching, PGD prior to embryo transfer.

In the newly renovated building, you will find all necessary equipment and facilities to make accurate diagnoses, perform precise and accurate work in the laboratory and perform medical procedures, including surgery. This allows the experienced and skilled medical staff to perform the most current and advanced medical procedures and surgeries. Furthermore, the clinic has its own embryo and sperm banks that might be used at a later time, if necessary.

The staff's qualifications
The team of experienced specialists has been achieving excellent results on international level for a number of years. The quality of the treatment is based on an interdisciplinary cooperation of the doctors, biochemists, endocrinologists, urologists, geneticists, embryologists and psychologists. By regular participation in international conferences (ESHRE congresses, USA, Canada) in the field of fertilization treatments, the medical team's competency is at the most current level.

Achievements
The clinic attracts clients from the Czech Republic and from the neighboring countries, such as Slovakia and Poland. But also clients from Germany, Austria, the Near East and the USA visit the clinic to be treated.

The success of the treatment follows the general trend, because all modern techniques are incorporated:

Standard IVF treatments with own eggs have a success rate of 40 - 60%.
Single attempts of IVF with donated eggs result in 55% - 60% of pregnancies.
With three attempts of IVF with donated eggs, the chance of pregnancy is 80%.

Coordination of the Oocyte Donation Program
The implementation of IVF with donated egg cells is coordinated by Tomáš Jaroš, MD. As an infertility specialist and a board-certified ob/gyn, he is associated with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Center.

He is a Member of the Czech Societies of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Sterility and Assisted Reproduction, Ultrasound in Gynecology and Gynecology Endoscopies. He is also Member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).

Tomáš Jaroš received his medical degree at the School of Medicine at the Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic. He graduated with the highest qualifications as a Doctor of Gynecology and Obstetrics.

During a number of years he has treated successfully hundreds of couples in their struggle with infertility. He adapted The Fertility Handbook (Carolyn Maud Doherty MD and Melanie Morrissey Clark, 2006) to the publication of Treatment of Infertility, with numerous advices for infertile couples.
